  1. TRM Plays gPu(doom)

    An 820k-parameter Tiny Recursive Model, running on the GPU next to gPu(doom), plans every route for a DOOM bot that clears E1M1. A morning of watching it play the rest of the episode showed that the model was rarely what failed.

  2. DOOM on the GPU, Tic for Tic

    gPu(doom) translates id Software's DOOM source into WebGPU compute shaders. What it started from, what the move to the GPU took, and how it came to match Chocolate Doom on every tic of 21 of 23 test demos, verified overnight on a real GPU through a bridge to Oskar's Mac.
